Basso, Alice - La scrittrice del mistero

Non rinunciare mai
Trama:

P.S.: parola d’ordine Crampo!

Attenzione, recensione poco obiettiva e molto, molto personale.

Basso, Alice - The writer of the mystery

Plot:
After the international success of Writing is a dangerous profession and Do not tell the writer, Alice Basso returns with a new novel starring Vani, the ghostwriter most loved by readers. In The mystery writer we find her struggling with a case to solve that concerns her very closely and that will bring back seemingly dormant feelings and emotions. Someone in fact threatens to death the former boyfriend of Vani, the Riccardo who had become hated in previous novels. Despite all the bad things that the writer wished him, now seeks to help him and at his side there will always be Commissioner Berganza with whom Vani has finally started a love story that falters in their extreme difficulty to declare, but that has stood out the flight. Vani then can not be too lopsided and can not lose the love and respect of this commissioner with the cigarette always in his mouth and the mystery between his fingers. The only thing he can do is to ask for help from Berganza and try to save Riccardo by freeing the heart from the past without too much immersion in the abyss of the human soul. To do so, the books will once again save the protagonist created by Alice Basso's pen, exposing the mind and the criminal plans of someone very powerful, who seems to have come out of one of the books that Vani has to write in place of those who they declare true writers. Between literature, noir and romance, the writer of the mystery is a novel that will conquer again the bookstores of the whole world.

Comment: review this fourth, wonderful adventure of Vani Sarca without spoiler is very hard. I can only say that this is mainly a book about love in all its forms, more or less healthy, more or less beautiful, more or less experienced. As already happened with the other books, the plot makes very little what actually the story contains, even in some cases I venture to say that it plays bad.
What I say to do, now the fans are well aware, Alice Basso has a way of writing able to make you laugh at tears and move of tenderness within a handful of words, perfect to accompany us in the turbulent life of Vani, which in a very few days will undergo several upheavals and jolts. If you believed in the third novel that the process of character growth has finally come to an end, forget it: this is where the real roller coaster begins, and Vani is by no means the only one to experience its effects. In certain particular points of the story it seemed to me to witness a world upside down, to which, however, we could never have come without all that was there before. To explain better: it is as if the first three books were all a great and fantastic introduction, which then led us to the real breakthrough with this chapter of the series. I must admit that, although I prefer things as they are now, it already makes me tremendously sad to think that this breakthrough brings with it an inevitable flavor of impending conclusion, that I wish it would never come, but at the same time I think deserved for these characters.
Being a lover of thrillers and thrillers (although still too ignorant on the subject), I can not fail to have loved the numerous references to many authors who made history of these genres, some of which I love madness (CofcofDeavercofcof), as well as to technical "tricks" on the process of creation that is behind a successful detective, which we, even readers, do not even dream of is so complicated (obviously not for Vani) and that the author has almost a denial with the case of the book.
Among other things, I also feel a certain hatred for the author in this regard, derived from the fact that my list of books to read has increased a lot, thanks to some authors and characters mentioned that seem really interesting.
