Hey, tutti, felice Lunedi a voi. Siamo spiacenti Sono stato lontano per un paio di settimane. Infine, sono a casa - e saremo a casa per molti mesi.

Alfredo, una buona notizia - alcuni lavori di traduzione sarà senza dubbio la strada voce poco, supposto che ancora baraccopoli che fare traduzioni ora che lei è un autore pubblicato te! Candy, Brian si sforza di fare il serio e tu non hai resistito alla tentazione del traduttore online. (ma a volte capita che resisti alle tentazioni?)

Comunque una cosa il google translator l'ha detta giusta: se non continuo a tradurre, anche se sono un autore pubblicato finisco a vivere nelle baraccopoli...

Alfredo, good news -- some translation work will no doubt be heading your way shortly, assuming you still slum it doing translations now that you are a published author yourself! :) Piemme have signed on to publish the fourth Stride book, so that's terrific. You can all look for it in Italy in 2009.

The English titles of #4 are IN THE DARK (in the US) and SUSPICION (in the UK). Yes, yes, very confusing, having two titles for the same book. The book is emotionally intense -- I really think you'll enjoy it.

And of course, I am anxiously awaiting the release of THE MOTH'S DANCE in Italy next month!

We were in New York meeting with my US publisher for a couple days last week. Good meetings, but the weather was hot hot hot. The temperatures set records. So we're happy to be back in rainy but cool Minnesota.

Welcome back, Brian! I can't wait to read and translate In The Dark (of course, now that for the first time you have a three-word title, the Italian title will be much longer...) Hey, I didn' tell you that a short novel of mine has just been released! It,s called Duri di Cuore, it's a pity that you don't read Italian, I would have loved having your opinion!

A three-word title. Yes, how shocking. Well, only my English readers will be surprised.

There isn't too much news here. Now that we're home for a few months, it's mostly just long walks -- and writing book five, too. But that sounds fine.

Ah yes, I'm delighted to see that LAS VEGAS BABY is back in the Maestri del Thriller line. If any of you haven't read it yet, now's the time! The third book -- yes, it's that moth dancing! -- should be out this month.

Alfredo, have you heard anything about a release date? I'll have to check with folks at Piemme. I usually send an e-mail to my readers when a new book is released.

Marcia and I took a long, long walk today -- beautiful, breezy summer day. Then we did some pruning in the garden. Never fear, I'm hard at work on book five.

Of course, I would be nowhere without Alfredo's amazing translation skills (in the book, not this message!) If you like it, thank him. If you don't like it, blame me!

And yes, Evelin, it's a hard book for Maggie (and Serena, too.) But I'm truly proud of this book. I really think you'll enjoy it.

E sì, Evelin, it' libro duro dello S.A. per Maggie (e Serena, anche.) Ma I' m. allineare fiera di questo libro. Realmente penso you' il ll lo gode.
