I was in Winnipeg Canada for a couple days this week. The temperature was minus 24 Celsius. Brrrrrrr. I'm not used to coming home to Minneapolis to warm up.

I'm wrapping up edits on book four and then I'm off to London a week from Sunday.

I will certainly make it to Italy at some point. Giorgio has kindly invited me to stay with him, so I really need to find some time to make the trip. Traveling a lot sounds more glamorous than it really is, though. It's not long before you miss sleeping in your own bed.

I just heard from another Italian reader this morning who enjoyed LAS VEGAS BABY. I told her about the forum, so hopefully she'll drop by and say hello.

I heard from my Italian translator today, who is working on my third book, STALKED, which will be released in Italy in 2008. I've been getting great early feedback from readers in the US and UK.

By the way, my translator's name is Alfredo Colitto, and if you enjoy historical thrillers, he also has a novel of his own coming out from Piemme next year. It's set during the middle ages. Look for it in stores!

I'm heading to London on Sunday, so it may be a couple weeks before I can check back in.

sono contento che ti siano piaciuti i libri di Brian, perchè li ho tradotti io tutti e due. Mi piace un sacco il personaggio di Serena Dial, ma mi piaceva anche Maggie Bei, quella di Immoral.

il prossimo libro di freeman uscirà credo a giugno 2008. In inglese si chiama Stalked, non so in italiano come lo intitoleranno. ho cominciato a tradurlo proprio oggi, perciò ho scritto a Brian e lui mi ha parlato di questo forum

ah, anche io adoro Serena. Complimenti per la traduzione, il tuo per me non è un lavoro affatto facile e se lo si fa male si compromette il giudizio di un libro. Pensa che io sto cercando di tradurre il Codice Da Vinci (quando ho uno spicchio di tempo) ma quanto è difficile e se l'avessi tradotto io, povero Dan Brown!!!!!Quando leggo la versione italiana la differenza con la mia di traduzione è a dir poco mostruosa
